I must need some new meds

So, here I am, going through my bloglines, and the post at Gun Law News has this which catches my eye…

So I follow the links to this site.

(That thunk you heared was my jaw hitting the floor)

Like the headline at No Quarters asks, has Hell frozen over?
Cleveland won the Superbowl?

Yes? No? Maybe?

Dateline is NOT 4/1/06…

I'm SOOooo confused…

Can anyone tell me if this is a LEGITAMATE news site? And is this story true?

Or do I just need some new meds?

(excuse me while I pick up my jaw)

  1. Judge Beezer isn’t very well liked among certain sectors for his decisions, and in one case they say, Attorneys practicing in the 9th Circuit should be aware that the trail transcripts and appeal transcripts clearly show that the 9th Circuit no longer considers itself bound by the decisions in the foregoing cases, – (my emphasis) which to me (not a lawyer) appears to be something of an ice-breaking compared to the decisions of foregoing cases and even foreign case-law practically invented by some of the rest of the 9th Circuit.
And another good reason to break-up the whole Circuit.

  2. First, Kieth, Thank You for taking the time to comment.

I followed your links and I must say they shed no light on the question of sanity in the 9th circuit.

If anything, they left me even more confused.

  3. Yeh, I’m not sure what kind of internecine battles are raging between the crazy-old Judges (and the just plain crazy ones) of that Court…
