Thus I have Spoken

I Read A Lot

Filed under: Blogging — steamdragon @ 5:15 pm

science fiction, mysteries, some horror, SPY THRILLERS!!!…

Life stories…

A friend sent me a link to a story posted on line.

When I first followed the link, I thought “Oh great, Sam’s sending me porno spam links.”

After a few days, he talked me into reading the first chapter.

A week later, I have read all 4 books in the series, up to where the author has posted. The fourth book will have at least 13 chapters, but I’m guessing 20 – 30.

He’s posted up to and including chapter 12.

He is posting  chapters “As they are ready.”

I joined the e-mail notice list for when he posts.

Lots of  descriptive sex scenes, but oddly enough, not a “stroke” story.

Well written and compelling, you I feel I know the characters, and care about what is happening in their lives.

This is Paul’s story of growing up from about 15, through collage and beyond.

I have laughed with and at them, and cried (so much for my stoic rep) for and with them.

I Understood exactly how they felt in most instances, and learned a few things I wish I’d learned YEARS ago.

Interesting enough, the one thing I have not felt, was, sexually aroused.

My wife is currently reading book 2, and she loves it too.

We talk about what is happening in the story while we are getting ready for bed.

We talk TO each other more than we have in years, and that has brought us closer together than we ever have been. Well, maybe not EVER… but anything that helps a couple rekindle their love after 25 years of marriage, is a good thing.

I’d explain, but you should discover it all for yourself.

So if you are at least 18 years old, and want to, read Nick Scipios Summer Camp.

Now I just have to wait for the next chapter.
